The Dependency Viewer tab in the Preview Pane lets users view the dependencies that exist among documents (referred to as document dependencies) in the datasource. (Dependency Viewer is an option of the ProjectWise Explorer installer.)

To view a document's dependencies, select any document in the document list and then select the Dependency Viewer tab in the Preview Pane. A dependency map is automatically generated for the selected document. The dependency map contains a diagram that shows how the selected document and all of its linked documents and models are connected to each other.

Each document or model in the map is represented by a block. Each block is read-only, and shows the status of the linked document and an icon indicating which application is associated to the document. (If the selected document has no dependencies, then only one block displays in the dependency map.)
